Now entering its 12th season, Toronto Summer Music is a 4-week Festival that presents a densely-packed schedule of over 60 concerts and events that attracts an audience of over 13,000 to the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood.
TSM Shuffle Concerts: One hour casual concerts featuring festival artists and next generation stars!
Heliconian Hall – 35 Hazelton Ave.
Inspired by the shuffle function of an iPod, SHUFFLE Concerts are informal performances featuring eclectic artists and genres. The series consists of 9, hour-long concerts, Wednesdays through Fridays, during the 2017 Toronto Summer Music Festival. The concerts are pay-what-you-can and take place at 5pm to include the after-work crowd in the Yorkville neighbourhood.

Thursday, July 13, 7:30pm – St. Lawrence String Quartet, Koerner Hall

Monday, July 17, 7:30pm – James Ehnes in Recital, Koerner Hall
Manitoba’s own superstar violinist performs a solo recital of Bach, Ysaye, and Cabena.
Tuesday, July 25, 7:30pm – National Youth Orchestra of Canada, Keorner Hall
A special Canada 150 Signature multi-disciplinary project tackling issues of Truth and Reconciliation. This performance will include works by Borodin and Strauss.
Thursday, July 27, 7:30pm – A Night at the Opera (hosted by Julie Nesrallah)
Don’t miss some of Canada’s most talented singers performing arias and duets from the great operas of Puccini, Mozart, Verdi, and of course, Bizet’s Carmen! Featuring Canada’s own Nikki Chooi, the newly minted concertmaster of the Met Opera Orchestra.
Friday, August 4, 7pm – Last Night of the Festival, Eh!, Koerner Hall
Join us for a special flag-waving Canadian version of Last Night of the Proms. Program includes Maxime Goulet’s Chocolate Symphony, as well as proms favourites such as Rule Brittania, Land of Hope and Glory, and Jerusalem.
Friday, August 4, 10:30pm – TSM Late Night Encore, Koerner Hall
Come see Jonathan Crow, Emily D’Angelo and the TSM Academy Fellows perform Schubert’s moving Death and the Maiden at TSM’s final Koerner Hall concert of the festival.
